On view at the Omba Gallery until 30 November, this exhibition features the work of Elsie Imhof, Fabienne Schuwey, and Gila Risser, three artists whose creations are deeply rooted in nature. Using natural materials such as leather, wood, or clay, they explore the relationship between the earth and artistic expression.
The title Essence of Earth reflects their shared appreciation for organic textures, natural tones, and the raw beauty of Namibia’s landscapes. Each piece celebrates the materials themselves, shaped, carved, stitched, or transformed by hand into forms that convey balance, simplicity, and the grounding power of nature.
